Coronavirus: Mali records 10 new cases

Bamako, Mali, June 22 (Infosplusgabon) - Ten new cases of coronavirus infections were discovered this Saturday in Mali, bringing to 1,933 the total number of positive cases of Covid-19 in the country, Infosplusgabon learned from official sources.

 

 

Godate, the sources said, 38 patients have been cured and 1 case of death recorded.

 

These new cases were detected in the Timbuktu region (8 cases) and in the Ségou region (2 cases), out of 120 samples tested.

 

Since the discovery of the first two cases of the pandemic on March 25 in Mali, this is the first time that the district of Bamako has recorded no case.

 

Of the 1,933 positive cases recorded in total in the country, 1,235 patients recovered and 109 died.

 

To this day, 1,795 contact persons are the subject of daily follow-up, according to the sources.
