Tripoli, Libya, June 22 (Infosplusgabon) - A total of 190 bodies have been discovered in hospitals and mass graves in Tarhouna, 100 km south of Tripoli, and in areas south of the Libyan capital since 5 June, the Libyan army loyal to the Government of National Accord (GNA) announced.

Between 5 and 17 June, 190 bodies were discovered in places occupied by Marshal Khalifa Haftar's forces, according to statistics released on Saturday by the Libyan army's Military Operation "Volcano of Wrath".

The GNA accused Haftar's forces of committing the crimes in Tarhouna, its last stronghold in the west of the country, where mass graves and more than 100 bodies were found in the morgue of the city's hospital that bore traces of torture and bullet wounds.

Mines and explosive devices were planted by Haftar's forces in areas on the southern outskirts of Tripoli after they were pushed away from these areas, in which 39 persons died and 71 injured among the displaced. The fighting prevented civilians from returning to their homes after a year.

The GNA has undertaken to seek international support to form a commission of inquiry into violations committed by Khalifa Haftar's forces.

The authorities continue to document these violations with evidence to prosecute those involved in national or international courts, including the International Criminal Court.
