Terrorist sentenced to 48 years in prison in Tunisia

Tunis, Tunisia, June 20 (Infosplusgabon) - The Criminal Chamber trying terrorism cases at the Tunis Court of First Instance has sentenced "terrorist" Bohene Boulaabi to 48 years in prison, a judicial source said on Friday.

Originally from the central-western city of Kasserine, Boulaabi is a member of the Daesh-affiliated Katiba, "Ajnaad Khalifa".

He took part in "terrorist" operations against elements of the armed and security forces as well as the gendarmerie.

He was arrested in 2018 at the Jebel Salloum by army special units.
