Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, June 16 (Infosplusgabon) - The Abidjan-based stock market (BRVM) closed Monday trading down, with the BRVM 10 index dropping from 129.20 to 126.55 points or a 2.05 percent decrease while the BRVM Composite index lost 1.35 percent to 135.87 points as against 137.76 points previously.
The volume of transactions stood at 119,440,863 CFAF for 50,613 traded securities on the share market while that of the bond market stood at 2,434,290 CFAF for 243 traded securities.
Share market capitalization amounted to 4,082,240,398,511 CFAF while the bond market stood at 5,196,908,212,140 CFAF.
Crown Siem (Côte d’Ivoire) recorded the highest gain with a daily evolution of 4.55 percent while the least traded security was recorded by Banque of Africa (Niger) with a daily drop of 5.71 percent.
