Orange launches 4G+ in Botswana

Gaborone, Botswana, June 15 (Infosplusgabon) - Mobile operator, Orange Botswana, has launched the 4G+ technology on local market, along with increased network capacity.

 

 

 

Patrick Benon, Chief Executive Officer of Orange Botswana, on Monday said the development is part of the company’s efforts to deliver a stronger, better and faster network.

 

“It is our hope that this development better enables our valued customers to do more and brings them closer to what matters most to them,” said Benon.

 

The CEO said 4G+ technology has already been rolled out in the capital, Gaborone, and Francistown, as rollout to most parts of the country continues.

 

“This will allow customers to experience better streaming, faster downloads, quicker browsing as well as quicker sending and receiving of big files,” said Benon.

 

In addition, Orange Botswana has launched enhanced offers which include increase in bundles from the 200MB to 500MB for all bundles.

 

The development comes as most network providers across the globe are readying for the launch of 5G mobile technology.
