Coronavirus: Rwanda's COVID-19 cases reach 582

Kigali, Rwanda, June 15  (Infosplusgabon) - After noticing a slight decrease of the Covid-19 cases over the last three months, Rwanda's Ministry of Health announced a reversed trend on Sunday with the national disease incidence surpassing 500 to reach 582 cases.

The ministry announced 41 new cases with no recovery out of 91,151 tests conducted.

Earlier this month, Rwanda eased its countrywide lockdown but parts of Rusizi in the southwest and Rubavu in the northwest remain in total lockdown until further notice.

Public servants and private operators in the two districts should work from home, except those offering essential services.

Movements across the country are still prohibited from 9 pm to 5 am in line with the curfew imposed to limit the spread of the disease.
