Coronavirus: Mali records 51 new cases of Covid-19

Bamako, Mali, June 15 (Infosplusgabon) - Mali on Monday recorded 51 new coronavirus infections, including 27 in Mopti region, besides 37 recoveries, according to the Ministry of Health.

No death was reported but the ministry said that Mopti region had the highest number of patients, followed by Timbuktu with 19 cases. Bamako district recorded three cases, while Kayes and Koulikoro regions reported  one case each.

Positive cases of the pandemic in Mali have topped 1,860 including 1,125 cured patients and 104 deaths.

According to the ministry, 2,202 contacts persons are being monitored daily.
