Coronavirus: Tunisia records two new cases

Tunis, Tunisia, June 14 (Infosplusgabon) – Tunisia has recorded two new cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) after laboratory tests carried out on Saturday on 1,117 persons, including seven among former patients, the Tunisian Ministry of Health said on Sunday.

The new cases recorded among repatriated people in quarantine take to 1,096 the number of infections reported in the country since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said, indicating that total tests done to date are 59,887.

Meanwhile, the ministry has recorded 998 overall recoveries.

It added that six Guineans tested negative after their arrest as they attempted to enter Tunisia illegally from Algeria.
