Coronavirus: 145 new cases, 128 cured and 4 deaths recorded in Senegal

Dakar, Senegal, June 13 (Infosplusgabon) - Senegal Saturday recorded145 new cases of coronavirus(COVID-19), 128 new cured and four deaths, the ministry of Health and Social Action said during its daily press briefing on the epidemiological situation.

According to the ministry, out of 1,378 tests carried out, 145 returned positive to the coronavirus, made up of 99 follow-up contact cases, 27 imported cases and 19 cases resulting from community transmission.

In addition, 128 patients tested negative and were declared cured, said the ministry of Health, which also announced four new deaths, bringing to 60 the number of people who succumbed to the pandemic.

Therefore, to date, Senegal has 4,996 positive cases: 3,228 cured, 60 deaths and 1,707 still under treatment, including 22 cases at the intensive care units.
