Two Burkinabe soldiers killed in the Sahel

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, June 7 (Infosplusgabon) - Two Burkinabe soldiers were killed on Saturday in the explosion of an improvised device on the Namssiguia-Djibo road in Soum province in the Sahel,  Infosplusgabon learned on Sunday from a security source.

According to the source, the incident happened when an Anti-Terrorist Forces (GFAT) was on patrol in this area plagued by terrorism.

The security authorities have not yet officially acknowledged the attack, one of the series of attacks against the Burkinabe army since 2015.
