Lusaka, Zambia, June 1 (Infosplusgabon) – Zambia has in the last five days recorded 32 new cases of COVID-19 from 3,361 tests which were conducted, Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Technical Services, Kennedy Malama announced here on Monday.
Malama said at a media briefing in Lusaka that 20 of the 32 new cases of COVID-19 are truck drivers, who entered the country through various ports of entry.
The Permanent Secretary also said 133 patients were discharged in the last 5 days.
Malama said the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases is now 1,099 with 7 deaths and 876 recoveries.
