Coronavirus: Libya records 26 new infections

Tripoli, Libya, June 1 (Infosplusgabon) - Libya has recorded 26 new confirmed coronavirus infections bringing the total number of COVID-19 in the country to 156, the Libyan National Centre for Disease Control has announced.

In a statement issued on Sunday evening, the National Centre for Disease Control announced two new recoveries that bring the total number to 52.

The total number of deaths is five.

The centre said there is the emergence of a new outbreak of the pandemic in Sebha 800 km south of Tripoli, with 12 new cases of infection.
