Bamako, Mali, May 30 (Infosplusgabon) - Health services in Mali diagnosed 24 COVID-19 infections on Saturday after testing 296 samples, bringing to 1,250 the total number of infections recorded in thes country.
These new cases were Kayes region (6 cases), Koulikoro region (1 case), Sikasso region (10 cases), Mopti region (3 cases), Timbuktu region (2 cases) and the district of Bamako had two cases.
The health services also recorded on Saturday 27 recoveries from the disease and 3 deaths.
The total number of cured patients is now 1,250 while deaths related to the disease totalled 76, including 30 outside the pandemic centres.
To date, a total of 2,296 contact persons are subject to daily monitoring.
