Libyans stranded at Ras Jedir border in Tunisia return home

Tunis, Tunisia, May 25 (Infosplusgabon) - The Ras Jedir border crossing was opened on Sunday to allow Libyans stranded in Tunisia for more than two months to return home, a Tunisian security source said.

These Libyans, whose exact number was not specified, were placed in sanitary quarantine in a hotel in the city of Zarzis and were tested twice to ascertain their health prior to the trip.

The activities of this border crossing between Tunisia and Libya have been halted, as part of the measures adopted against the spread of the new coronavirus (Covid-19).
