Coronavirus: Burkina Faso records one new case of virus

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, May 24 (Infosplusgabon) – Burkina Faso on Sunday recorded a new confirmed case of coronavirus, taking to 832 the total number of persons infected since 9 March, the Government Information Service (GIS) said.

It said four patients have also recovered bringing to 683 the number of cured patients while the death toll remains at 52.

To date, there are 97 active cases under treatment. The number of confirmed cases comprises 305 women and 527 men.
