Coronavirus: Ghana's positive cases rise by 131 bringing total to 6,617

Accra, Ghana, May 23 (Infosplusgabon) - The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has recorded 131 new infections of COVID-19 (coronavirus) sending the total number to 6,617.

In an update on its website on Saturday, GHS said 27 more persons have recovered, bringing the recovery figure to 1,978. The death toll remains 31.

Greater Accra Region has recorded 4,780 cases, Ashanti Region 1,010 cases, Central Region 297 cases and Western Region 208 cases. Ghana has 16 regions.
