Tunis, Tunisia, May 23 (Infosplusgabon) - A first contingent of 400 Libyans was repatriated on Friday after spending the mandatory confinement period in Zarzis, a southern Tunisian town near the border with Libya, during which they were tested for the negative coronavirus, a source in Tunis said.
The operation will continue daily in successive turns in order to avoid congestion at the Ras Jedir border crossing, after completion of the necessary analyses, according to Ali Selmi, member of the team responsible for monitoring the Libyans who are in Zarzis. Their number exceeds 1,800 people accommodated in three hotels in the city.
