COVID-19: Burkina Faso records 17 new cases of coronavirus

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, May 23 (Infosplusgabon) - Burkina Faso recorded on Saturday 17 new cases of coronavirus, bringing to 831 the total number of positive cases since March 9 in the country, PANA learnt from official sources.

Out of 245 samples analyzed, 17 were positive cases including 13 imported and 4 from  community transmissions -- 3 in Ouagadougou and 1 in Bobo-Dioulasso, according to the Government Information Service (GIS).

The same source added that 7 patients were cured bringing recoveries to 679. So far total deaths remain at 52.
