Coronavirus: Nigeria’s cases increase by 339 to 7,016 raising fears of escalation

Abuja, Nigeria, May 22 (Infosplusgabon) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday confirmed 339 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 7,016.

The new figures are raising fears that infections have not yet peaked and that Nigerians should brace up for more bad news before infections plateau before going down.

A total of 1,907 patients have so far been discharged while the death toll has increased by nine to 211.
