Coronavirus: Rwanda records 6 new infections, 7 recoveries

Kigali, Rwanda, May 21 (Infosplusgabon) - Rwanda's Health officials on Wednesday announced six new coronavirus infections bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 314.

According to Rwanda's Health ministry officials, seven patients have recovered bringing the number to 216 while the active cases are 98.

The government has eased some lockdown measures that will run until 1 June.

A curfew is in place from 9 p.m to 5 a.m. local time.

Borders will remain closed, except for goods and cargo, as well as returning Rwandan citizens and legal residents.

All returnees will be subjected to mandatory quarantine in accordance with existing health guidelines at their own cost.
