Coronavirus: Burkina Faso registers 14 new cases including 7 imported from Niger

Ouagadougou, May 17 (Infosplusgabon) - Burkina Faso registered 14 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) on 15 May, including seven imported from Niger, the government information service (SIG) announced here Sunday.

The SIG added that the country had recorded 40 new recoveries, bringing the total number of people cured to 644, while 101 active cases are under treatment.

Since 9 March, 51 people have died from the disease in Burkina Faso.
