More than 200 Tunisians repatriated Saturday from Canada

Tunis, Tunisia, May 17 (Infosplusgabon) -  Some 215 Tunisians stranded in Canada were Saturday repatriated home aboard the Tunisian airline, TunisAir, from the Montreal airport, the Tunisian Foreign Ministry said here Sunday.

This is the fifth chartered flight by the Tunisian authorities to repatriate Tunisians stranded abroad in compliance with the measures enacted by the International Air Transport Association to this effect, the same source said on its official page.

The same day, 256 Tunisians were also repatriated from France by a TunisAir flight from Paris Charles de Gaule Airport to Tunis Carthage International Airport.

According to the Tunisian ministry of foreign affairs, efforts continue to be made to ensure the return home of all Tunisians stranded abroad.

All Tunisians repatriated from abroad are automatically put in compulsory health quarantine centres as soon as they arrive.
