COVID-19: no new cases of the virus reported in Mauritius in last 20 days

Port-Louis, Mauritius, May 17 (Infosplusgabon) - The National Communication Committee on coronavirus (COVID-19) announced here Saturday no new positive cases of the pandemic had been registered in the island over the past 20 days.

The Ministry of Health said Mauritius had a total of 332 cases of Covid-19 registered since the announcement of the first case on the island, including 10 deaths, 322 cured, and two active cases.

A total of 24,966 PCR tests and 61,921 rapid screening tests have been carried out so far. In addition, 149 passengers are currently in quarantine on the island.
