Coronavirus: Ghana's positive cases now 5,638; deaths 28

Accra, Ghana, May 16 (Infosplusgabon) - Ghana's positive cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus) have risen to 5,638, up by 108 over the last figures released by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Thursday.

GHS said on its website on Friday night that 786 new patients have recovered, bringing the figure to 1,460 while four more patients have succumbed to the disease, making the death toll 28.

Greater Accra Region has recorded 4,248 positive cases, Ashanti Region has 798 and Central Region 210.

Ghana's health authorities say they have carried out more than 160,500 tests.
