Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, May 15 (Infosplusgabon) - Three persons were killed and one injured on Friday morning in an accident involving two articulated trailers on the RN4 road between Ouagadougou and Koupéla in eastern Burkina Faso, firefighters reported.
According to them, the two trucks collided, claiming three victims and injuring one person who was evacuated to Ouagadougou.
Road accidents are frequent in Burkina Faso, due, among other things, to over speeding, failure to obey road signs, use of telephone while driving and poor parking.
According to the National Road Safety Office of Burkina Faso (ONSASER), from 2015 to 30 September 2019, 95,700 road accidents occurred, resulting in 4,506 deaths and 70,969 injuries.
