Tripoli, Libya, May 15  (Infosplusgabon) - Libya's Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord (GNA) has welcomed statements by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg regarding the alliance's readiness to support the GNA, and the fact that "the international community cannot put it in the same balance" with the Haftar camp.

Stoltenberg on Thursday renewed NATO's readiness to support the government led by Fayez Al-Sarraj, as well as the efforts of the United Nations to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in Libya.

In a statement released on Friday by the department of external media management, the Foreign ministry censuring the lack of international will to "deter the aggression that led to the continued bombing of hospitals and civilians, the killing of innocent people and the mistreatment of prisoners."

Maitigua Airport was bombed last Saturday, destroying a cargo plane, and damaging two other planes, in addition to four fire trucks, while bombing targeted the Tripoli Central Hospital and surrounding residential areas, injuring 14 citizens, including women and children.

German and Italian foreign ministers Haiko Maas and Luigi di Maio also condemned the attacks on health facilities in Tripoli and Maitigua International Airport, calling for the resumption of the political process sponsored by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya. They reiterated that there was no military solution to the Libyan crisis.
