Covid-19: Chad records 399 cases, 83 cured and 46 deaths

N'Djamena, Chad, May 15 (Infosplusgabon) - The Chadian Ministry of Public Health announced on Friday that it since March 19 registered 399 cases of coronavirus, including 27 new infections.

On Thursday, the ministry said there were 27 new  cases, 5 sick patients, 2 deceased patients and 270 patients on treatment before reporting that three suspect bodies have been tested and 2 were positive.

Of the 399 cases recorded since March 19, the ministry said that 318 cases were male and 81 were female. There are also 83 cured patients and 46 deaths.

The Chadian government has set up a health watch and security unit, under the leadership of the Minister of State, Minister Secretary General of the Presidency, Kalzeubé Payimi Deubet, to manage the pandemic in the country.
