Bamako, Mali, May 14  (Infosplusgabon) - Malian international footballer, Agueissa Diarra, could play in the French top division next season, as she is being lured by three teams from France - En-Avant Guingamp, Montpellier and Fleury.

The striker of the Aigles Dames (Mali's women's national team) was one of the most prominent players in the first edition of the UFOA Women's Tournament in Sierra Leone, scoring 7 goals in 5 matches and winning the trophy for the best scorer of the competition.

The women's national team had reached the final of this competition after they were beaten 3-0 by Senegal.

According to sports sources, the player told a local website last week that her agent is in contact with the three French clubs, adding that for the moment she has not made any choice.

Agueissa Diarra began her career at Super Club (Bamako's first division team) where she spent seven years before joining Hamdallaye's Super Lionesses in 2017.

She is the main driving force behind the Aigles Dames' attacking line and is considered one of the most gifted players of her generation.
