Kigali, Rwanda, May 11 (Infosplusgabon) - Rwanda Health officials on Sunday reported four new confirmed COVID-19 cases bringing the total number to 284.
According to officials, so far 140 people have been discharged from hospitals.
Monday marks the beginning of the second week of the ongoing easing of lockdown across the country announced on 30 April to contain the spread of the pandemic.
Health officials will determine whether or not the process will be continued after the two weeks.
Among key guidelines issued by health officials with respect to public places are mandatory wearing of face masks, strict handwashing and use of sanitisers, observance of physical distancing and ban on public gathering.
Banks and financial institutions, categories of government offices and private sector will also operate between 6 am and 7 pm.
Schools, places of worship, clubs, bars and gardens are to remain closed.
