Three suspected poachers arrested in northwestern Congo

Brazzaville, Congo, May 9  (Infosplusgabon) - Three suspected poachers, in possession of a two-kilogram ivory spike, a tail and a 12-gauge rifle, were arrested in northwestern Congo by a patrol team from the Tridom Space Project, Congolese public radio reported on Saturday.

Despite this period of health crisis due to coronavirus and confinement, criminal networks are still active, taking advantage of reduced patrols in protected areas.
