Ivorian Prime Minister in France for medical check-up

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, May 3 (Infosplusgabon) - Cote d'Ivoire's Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly went to Paris, France, on Saturday for a medical check-up, the Secretary-General of the Presidency, Patric Achi, has said in a statement.

He added that Mr. Hamed Bakayoko, Minister of State for Defence is now the premier's caretaker.

The statement ddd not give details on the illness of Mr. Coulibaly, who is also the nominated candidate of the ruling party for the presidential election in October.
