Tunisia's crude oil output drops by 4%

Tunis, Tunisia, May 3 (Infosplusgabon) - Tunisia's crude oil production dropped by 4% at the end of March 2020 compared to the same month last year, to 421 tons, said the report on the energy situation for the first quarter of 2020 published by the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

Production has continued its downward trend in several fields such as Ashtart (-18%), Adam (-24%), Cherouq (-26%), El borma (-9%), Hasdrubal (-17%), the report said.

The daily average production had at the end of March last year reached 35.9 thousand BPD against 38 thousand BPD at the end of March 2019, the ministry said.
