Tunis, Tunisia, April 30 (Infosplusgabon) - The spokesman of the Tunisian prosecution, Mohsen Dali, on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of the son-in-law of ex-president Zine Ben Ali and former president of Tunisian football giants, Esperance Sportif of Tunis, on suspicion of sexual harassment.
Dali said that Slim Chiboub is being held in pre-trial detention, which by law should last 48 hours, pending the outcome of ongoing investigation.
He said this measure was taken following a complaint lodged by a woman whose identity he has not disclosed.
Controversial journalist Arbia Hamadi said she and her husband, Taieb Ben sadok, a lawyer, are behind the arrest of Chiboub.
