Tunisian print media asked to resume printing of newspapers

Tunis, Tunisia, April 30 (Infosplusgabon) - The Tunisian General Federation of Information on Thursday on the print media to resume work from May 4 but with respect for health measures and professional safety announced by the Tunisian Ministry of Health.

This call to return to work comes following the targeted deconfinement measures decided on Wednesday by the government.

The Information Federation also called on all the basic unions in all the press establishments to monitor compliance to the new occupational health measures and the provision of necessary protection to employees.

The General Federation of Information, affiliated to the Tunisian General Labor Union, on 23 March, called on newspaper publishers to temporarily suspend the printing of newspapers and resort to electronic publications.
