Coronavirus: France grants 3.2 billion CFAF to Gabon in pandemic fight

Libreville, Gabon, April 25 (Infosplusgabon) - Gabon has received aid of 3.2 billion CFA francs from the French Development Agency to support the fight against the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19).

The French agency said in view of the urgency of the fight against Covid-19, it had to partially reallocate funds from the Phase 2 Health Sector Support Project to disburse the money. (US$1.00=CFAF600)

In 2017, the French agency allocated 10.4 billion euros to finance projects in emerging developing countries, and in favor of the French Overseas Territories.
