Coronavirus: Libya records second coronavirus-related death

Tripoli, Libya, April 24  (Infosplusgabon) - Libya's National Centre for Disease Control on Thursday announced the country's second coronavirus-related death.

In a statement, the Centre also said that its reference laboratory tested 156 samples on Thursday, all of which were negative, with the number of positive cases remaining at 60.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Committee to combat the coronavirus epidemic in Benghazi in the east of the country announced the recovery of three patients who were in contact with the first case that was announced in the city, bringing the number of patients who have recovered to 18 cases.

The Government of National Accord has reduced the curfew from 18:00 hours to 06:00 effective Tuesday for a 10-day period.
