Coronavirus: Senegal records 66 new cases, 5 new recoveries

Dakar, Senegal, April 24 (Infosplusgabon) - Senegal has a record number of confirmed cases of coronavirus on Friday of 66 new cases, bringing the total number to 540, announced by the Ministry of Health and Social Action during its daily briefing.

According to the ministry of the 528 tests conducted, 66 were positive to coronavirus, composed of 61 contacts cases being treated and 5 cases from community transmission.

In contrast, five patients have now tested negative and were declared cured, the ministry said, but reported a serious case in resuscitation.
