Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, April 20 (Infosplusgabon) - The central market in Ouagadougou, closed since 20 March due to coronavirus disease, on Monday in strict compliance with disease prevention measures, according to the authorities.
The minister in charge of trade, Harouna Kaboré, and the mayor of the city of Ouagadougou, Armand Béouindé, called on traders to respect distancing measures, wearing masks and washing hands.
Other markets in the city remain closed.
Burkina Faso has so far had 576 confirmed cases of COVID-19, comprising 224 women and 352 men, since 9 March 2020.
