COVID-19: Congo confirms 26 new cases

Brazzaville, Congo, April 19 (Infosplusgabon) - The Congolese minister of health and population, Jacqueline Lydia Mikolo, announced here Saturday that the country had registered 26 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-18).

In total, Congo has 143 confirmed cases with 11 cured and 11 deaths.

Five of the country's 12 departments are affected by the coronavirus, notably Brazzaville, the capital, Pointe-Noire, the main economic and industrial center, Pool, South and the Basin and Sangha in the North.
