Lomé, Togo, April 19 (Infosplusgabon) - Togo recorded two new positive cases of coronavirus infection on Friday, including a 28-month-old infant, bringing the number of COVID-19 patients to 83, Infosplusgabon learned from official sources on Saturday.
According to figures provided by the Coordination in charge of the response to the pandemic in Togo, three patients have been cured out of a total of 48, reducing the number of active cases under treatment to 30.
The number of deaths, meanwhile, still remains at five as at Thursday.

Lomé, the capital, and Sokodé, about 350 km north in the central region, remain the two epicenters of the pandemic in the country.
