Senegal records 8 new cases of coronavirus, 13 new cures

Dakar, Senegal, April 19 (Infosplusgabon)  -  Senegal Saturday recorded eight new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections, 13 new cures and three deaths, health officials said here, expressing concern over the spread of community transmission cases.

At its daily briefing, the ministry of health and social action reported on the eight cases of COVID-19 infection recorded Saturday.

Five are from community transmission, the other three patients tested positive being contacts who are being treated by the ministry's services.

For example, Senegal has a total of 350 positive cases, including 211 cured, three deaths, one evacuated and 135 patients still on treatment.
