Coronavirus: Tunisia’s cases rise to 864 confirmed cases, 42 new infections

Tunis, Tunisia, April 18 (Infosplusgabon) - The total number of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in Tunisia Friday stood at 864 confirmed cases following 42 new infections recorded in the last 24 hours, the Tunisian health ministry said here.

According to a statement issued by the health ministry, 2,905 people have been repatriated since 22 March.

It said 1,595 had exhausted their mandatory health quarantine period while 32 had tested positive for COVID-19 and had been confined.

It said 3,500 people who had contact with confirmed cases had also been placed in mandatory health quarantine.
