Port-Louis, Mauritius, April 13 (Infosplusgabon) - The spokesperson of the National Communication Committee on COVID-19, Dr Zouberr Joomaye, on Sunday night, said that the number of recoveries from the virus has begun to outstrip the number of new cases, as 14 additional patients have recovered.

This figure brings the total number of recoveries to 42.

Speaking on the national television from his residence where he is confined, Dr Joomaye said five new cases have been detected bringing the a total of cases to 324.

Regarding the plasmapheresis treatment that was made possible after two recovered COVID-19 (coronavirus) patients donated their blood, Dr Joomaye appealed to all patients who have recovered to donate their blood.
