Coronavirus: Rwanda's confirmed cases go up by six to 126

Kigali, Rwanda, April 13 (Infosplusgabon) – Rwandan health officials on Sunday confirmed six new cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) to bring the total to 126.

Contact tracing is ongoing to identify all persons who have been in contact with the new confirmed cases, the ministry said.

Rwanda is yet to register a fatality.

In a related development, Rwandan President Paul Kagame on Sunday interacted with the team of frontline staff working to stop the spread of the virus.

Testing for coronavirus cases has improved from between 400 and 500 samples daily to 800-1,000 samples a day.
